CANSON 1557 is an acid-free, pure white, lightly grained paper for sketching and drawings with a basis weight of 180 g/m². The drawing paper has a core and surface sizing for a high resistance. It can withstand repeated erasing and scratching without hurting the surface. Ideal for dry techniques, such as crayon, pencil, pastel, charcoal and rubella. The cardboard on the back brings enough stability to use the pad on the go. Therefore, 1557 is suitable for sketches and drawings indoors as well as in nature. The drawing pad in DIN A4 format contains 30 sheets.
